Before Quality ACS Air Conditioning Solutions provide a quotation for your air conditioning installation we will carry out an onsite survey. To correctly measure the space to be air conditioned and make allowances for glazing or any other heat generating sources such as computers, printers or servers. We will also allow for any people working in the space that will have air conditioning units fitted.
Once we have calculated the size of air conditioner unit or air conditioning units required, the next step is to determine what type of unit will be best suited to your particular application such as a wall mounted air conditioner unit or ceiling cassette air conditioning units or maybe ceiling suspended air conditioners, we only use quality energy efficient manufacturers such as Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin or LG, we do not install cheap units like some other air conditioning installation companies do, that don’t heat in the winter and breakdown in the summer because they are not made for the British climate and when they do breakdown can not get the parts.
With regard to the power supply to the outdoor units, we can either advise your own electricians on the electrical requirements of the units or provide an electrical contractor. But this work must be carried out by qualified electricians, we are air conditioning engineers not electricians.
When the decision has been made to install the system quoted for, our air conditioning installers will verify with you the exact location of each indoor unit and outdoor units prior to commencement.
All services will be routed through voids and or trunking, once the air conditioning system has been installed we will carry out a pressure and leak test using oxygen free nitrogen. When it has been determined that the system is air tight and holds a vacuum of no greater than 2 Torr, we will release the refrigerant into the system should the system require further charge of refrigerant this will be calculated and the correct amount weighed in using calibrated electronic scales.
We will then carry out a full test of the air conditioning units in both heating and cooling, we will also test any condensate pumps that may be fitted.
When all tests are completed to our satisfaction we will demonstrate how to operate the air conditioner to your nominated person and hand over.
Your system will come with a manufacturers three year warranty provided maintenance is carried out as per manufacturers recommendations by ourselves, please ask for details.
